Dee Graaff Productions started when two best friends realized that their talents and personalities complemented each other so well, that they started a business that was fuelled by passion and purpose. We have a combined experience of over 20 years in the music industry and want to use that experience to cultivate the arts into something no one has ever done. We believe in music. The Man Behind The Mix
Ruan Graaff. Music genius and guitar wizard. Raised in the small town of Secunda, Mpumalanga, Graaff began developing his innate musical skill at the young age of 4. His enduring and undying passion and love for his craft carried him to where he is now as a South African music industry frontrunner.
In his own words, Graaff believes that music is his destiny. He eats, sleeps, and breathes melodies, riffs, and percussion. At the age of 21, pursuing his lifelong dream, he completed his studies in guitar and sound engineering at the South African music institute. It wasn’t long after, that he was scouted and started performing as a session guitarist for South African singer-songwriter, Ampie. You can almost say that the rest is history. With his ear grabbing talent, he quickly made his presence undeniable. He went on to work, as music producer and guitarist, with every who’s-who in the music biz; Van Pletzen, Jo Black, Bouwer Bosch, Bittereinder, Jan Bloukaas, Janie Bay, Brandan Peyper, Lee Cole, Gerhard Steyn, Angie Oeh, Roan Ash, Refentste, Danie Reënwolf, Herman Kleynhans and that’s just to name a few.
With his progressive and fresh approach he is embedding international quality into South African music. Ruan Graaff has an ear that is creating future hits and an industry leader with his partner, Deon Dee.

After more than a decade of experience in the music industry as an artist, guitarist and management, Deon Dee Co-founded Dee Graaff Productions. Offering time and advice for the artists to help them find their place in this industry is a big passion for him. He also manages the company and focuses a lot on long term plans to grow the business. Directing and producing music videos is also a part of what he does for the company.
